HELLO HOOMAN, I’M Labradoodle

I am a Labradoodle, one of the most famous hypoallergenic dogs. I am a cross between a Labrador Retriever and a Poodle. Like any other dog in the Doodle family, I am an excellent looking, smart, and friendly dog who just loves being a part of a family. What’s more, I care deeply about my people, and it is not too challenging to train me. I love to socialize with other dogs and children.

MORE ABOUT ME

PERSONALITY AND TEMPERMANT

Labradoodle derives its temperament from its parents, particularly from its mother. At the same time, other things like socialization it receives also plays an essential role in shaping the personality and temperament of the Labradoodle. But generally, this breed is friendly and devoted to its family. Once the Labradoodle is trained, it shouldn’t be shy or aggressive towards other animals and humans.

CHARACTERISTICS

Labradoodle is a hypoallergenic dog breed that may or may not adapt well to apartment living, but it can handle being alone. The weather doesn’t affect them much; Labradoodle can tolerate both the hot summers and cold winters. Plus, this breed is intelligent as well as easy to train. Hence, it fits well with the novice owners. On top of that, Labradoodle usually likes being around children and other dogs. In fact, they are comfortable with strangers, too, and don’t have a tendency to bark or growl.

The Labradoodle generally comes in three different sizes- standard, miniature, and medium. The standard Labradoodle can weigh anywhere between 55-90 pounds and can be 24-26 inches tall. While the miniature Labradoodle stands out about 10-24 inches and weighs around 12-80 pounds, the medium one falls somewhere in between the standard and miniature.

ENERGY LEVEL

Typically, the Labradoodle dog breed is full of energy and requires 30-60 minutes of regular exercise. It is not surprising since being an intelligent dog species, Labradoodle needs to be physically and mentally. If Labradoodle is not tired off, it can become destructive and hard to handle.

PHYSICAL

Labradoodle requires daily exercise though it won’t force you for long marathons. Daily walks and regular trips to dog parks are a must. Moreover, other activities like swimming can help to keep Labradoodle under control.
